Halo: Reach – Birth of a Spartan HD Video

The highly classified bio-augmentation procedure is a Spartan candidates final and most difficult ordeal before joining the ranks of the legendary soldiers. Halo: Reach Legendary Leak

When Halo 3 was released in 2007, the game was available in three versions: a $60 regular version, $70 limited edition and a $130 Legendary edition. Now leaked scans are showing that Halo: Reach will follow suit in offering up a trifecta of Halo: Reach goodies when they are shipped out this fall. The scans are reportedly of an upcoming retail flyer that shows the three products, albeit without any price points.

However, one of the deal-sleuths over at Cheap Ass Gamer apparently received even more information via a Best Buy insert that will appear in newspapers starting Sunday, April 25. Though the poster did not include a scan of the image, he did say the standard edition would sell for $60, the limited edition for $80, and the legendary edition for $150. (more…)

Halo: Reach Multiplayer Trailer

Yesterday, Bungie dropped a bomb on us all! The Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta madness will not be accessible until May 3rd, 2010 but you’re going to need to be up to speed before you can get your little space boots in the mud. Dropping yesterday was the premiere of the Halo: Reach Mulitplayer Alpha in action, giving us all a glimpse of what is to come when the Beta unfolds for the world to see. You can take the Halo: Reach Beta for a test run yourself in May with access through your copy of Halo 3: ODST. Halo: Reach Microsoft X10 Interview

Back in February, Microsoft’s X10 expo shared with the gaming world a preview of what was to come with Halo: Reach. Gamespot (not to be confused with Gamestop) got in on the action, and talked with creative director Marcus Lehto of Bungie. No new game footage, but a whole new interview. We learn that Elites will be available in multiplayer, and word on the street is Bungie fixed the hitbox issue with their heads, so it will not be so hard to drop these alien bastards. We also learn that all of the multiplayer maps will be variations of playable maps throughout the campaign. This is very much like the Firefight mode we all loved in Halo 3: ODST, and unlike anything we have seen in the previous standalone Halo games. Halo Theme Song Remixed

What do you get when you cross a ridiculously talented keyboardist, the Halo theme song and Youtube? By far one of the coolest videos I have ever seen. My mind has been blown, my jaw has dropped to the grown, and I need a nap. Crank the headphones for this one, trust us, it is worth it. Marty O’Donnell would be proud.

Gamer Fetish – First Time Phoebe [NSFW]

Halo: Reach – G4 Preview

On February 11th, Microsoft’s X10 event was held in San Francisco, and G4 was there to cover it.
