Marty O’Donnell Is In The Studio

Fresh off the drop of Halo 3: ODST, and already nominated for Best Original Score at this year’s Spike TV Video Game Awards, Martin O’Donnell is back in the studio working on the score for Halo: Reach. Bungie employees have already heard some snippets from Mr. O’Donnell’s masterpiece, and they are in love. He apparently has brought strings back into the mix, unlike ODST which heavily favored the saxophone. Check out the gallery below and let us know what you think of Marty’s work. (more…)

Bungie Gets Served!

If you have ever thought that Halo has cheated you out of a certain kill, this is the letter for you. “Eric” and his “attorney” (I can’t help but picture Benicio Del Toro) sent Lars at Bungie this letter and diagram to explain how they were robbed in Halo 3 multi-player. Halo: Reach First Look Coming 12/12

Halo: Reach – The Silhouettes

We have all seen the Halo: Reach silhouette, but who exactly are the characters shown here? At first glance we can see that it is clearly 5 individuals shown here. They all look to be human, and seem to be wearing MJOLNIR Spartan armor. The one on the left looks larger than any of the others, and is holding some sort of large weapon. Next we see a smaller Spartan, with more feminine body structure. The one in the middle looks like he is the leader, and is holding an assault rifle. Next to him looks like another male Spartan, with a combat knife, and last we have a slender sniper Spartan. (more…)

Halo: Reach What Do You Expect?

Halo 3: ODST has been out now for nearly 3 months, and many campaign discs are being used as dust collectors and beer coasters. It is obvious that people love playing the Halo 3: Multi Player disc with the new Mythic Maps, but less and less people are venturing into the streets of New Mombasa, or throwing down in Firefight. Could it be that the story was short, and un-eventful? Could it be that the dark gameplay drew Halo fans away? Whatever the case is, millions of Halo fans are eagerly looking forward to next year already.

With Halo: Reach falling in 2010, a lot of speculation is being brought up on the newest Halo video game. We showed you some Halo: Reach leaked weapon screenshots earlier this month, but who will the main characters be? What kind of new weapons will we be able to harness? Will there be Elites again, and not just dead ones like in ODST? Will Master Chief be available for action? We want to hear from you! What would you like to see in Halo: Reach, and what do you expect from 2010’s most anticipated video game?
