Halo 3: ODST Live-Action Behind the Scenes

Last month we posted the live action short We Are ODST, and it was extremely popular amongst the Halo nation.  Now TeamXbox has behind the scenes coverage of the live-action short and you get to see that too. We are happy to bring you this 4 and a half minute mini documentary featuring cast and crew from We are ODST. Included in the video is a short action sequence that was cut from the original version. Halo 3: ODST- Brute Pimp Video

Have you been playing Halo 3: ODST and ran into a Brute Chieftain that struts around and slaps you instead of using his Gravity Hammer? Well then you had an encounter with the Brute Pimp. Bungie claims that this is a glitch but we figure someone had to have stuck this nice little Easter Egg into the game, because who doesn’t like pimps?

The fresh sound for the hit videogame series is a result of composers Martin O’Donnell and Michael Salvatori stepping up to Bungie’s challenge for an intimate detective story score that still feels like it belongs in the Halo-verse. French Halo 3 Machinima

I have yet to see a serious Halo 3 Machinima that I have liked so far. We have been spoiled with so many hilarious issues of Red vs. Blue that when I heard there was not only a French Halo 3 Machinima video out there, but that it was also serious I had to think the worst. I was incredibly wrong. This video titled Détresse, is one of the best Machinimas I have ever seen. Absolutely fantastic shots and a nice silent storyline. Two thumbs way up.

Ctrl+Alt+Del Halo 3: ODST Comic

Ctrl+Alt+Del have created a new Halo 3: ODST based comic strip and launched their first issue this week. If you have yet to play through the first mission of ODST on campaign, then beware the slight spoiler. We will keep you updated on further issues.

Xbox LIVE Community Calendar: October

With the leaves falling and the wind blowing it is that time of the year; October is here, and that means a whole new schedule of Xbox LIVE nights. Want to work on your Team Slayer skills or need some buddies to help you get the Vidmaster: Annual? Then Halo 3 night on October 9th is where you need to be. Wednesday the 21st is GamerChix night with Halo 3: ODST. Homemade Halo Weapons

We have been giving you quite a bit of coverage of homemade Halo costumes and helmets lately and it only seems fair to give you something to kill with. 405th is back yet again with another round of homemade perfection. Frag grenade’s and BR’s so real you know you could pull off an Overkill on your co-workers if they said one more word about that damn TPS report. Homemade Halo Helmets

The amazing group of geniuses over at 405th.com have created some superb pieces of art lately, and this time we are featuring their helmets. Each one of these helmets was originally just some paper, folded up to resemble a helmet.
