Vertical Limit – you guessed it – is all about exploring the lofty heights most players find inaccessible.  It begins with a somewhat lengthy cast introduction, and the video itself is nearly ten minutes, so make sure you have some time set aside if you want to watch the leaps in one sitting. 

Trick or Treat With Style

Ah yes, it is that time of the year again. Leafs are starting to fall, Football is back on TV and superhero costumes are starting to fill up the racks at your local Megamart. That’s right folks, Halloween is only 2 months away, and for some of us, it is time to start planning our greatest costume ever!

Halo themed costumes are sweeping the web in force, and I have a feeling this will be the greatest Halo-ween we have seen so far. We have found some pretty amazing UNSC Spartan costumes with real looking replica weapons as well as some pretty half assed cardboard versions. Halo 3: ODST Firefight …a Sneak Peak into the Future

Halo 3: ODST’s firefight mode is immediately satisfying, just because it’s Halo. We’re all familiar with the worst the Covenant has to offer so seeing Suicide Grunts and jetpack-equipped Brutes and Gravity Hammer-wielding War Chieftains come after you in wave after wave of unrestrained bloodlust is enough to make every Halo fan sleep well at night.

That Time Of The Year: Halo Wedding Season Is Here!

If you haven’t been to a wedding yet this summer you either died in the fall of Reach or you need some new friends. Halo themed weddings are popping up like mad this year and they are not to be missed. We have seen priests dressed as Master Chief, Halo themed cake toppers and even Covenant Weaponry. Nothing says I love you quite like standing at the alter clutching your plasma rifle while a string quartet gently rains down the theme song from your favorite video game. Below are some amazingly well executed Halo themed weddings as well as ideas for any fans looking to tie to knot in the future.

Halo 3: ODST: Transport Vehicle Embarks On A Nationwide Tour

If the upcoming launch of Halo 3: ODST has kept you all night, tingling with anticipation, then here is some good news for you. Microsoft and Bungie have  created an enormous transforming “Transport Vehicle” to bring the game directly to the fans at various GameStop locations across the US.

The action began Saturday, Aug. 22, in Redmond, Washington when Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson and Bungie kicked off the nationwide “Halo 3: ODST” GameStop Tour outside the Redmond Town Center GameStop.

Halo Wars: New Game, New Format, New Studio

With the release of Halo Wars on March 3rd, 2009, the world finds a new way to stop the Covenant’s attack on human life. Ensemble Studios teamed up with Microsoft to release this Real Time Strategy (RTS) specifically and exclusively for the Xbox 360. Unlike many other RTS games in the past where button layouts were more geared to PC play, this game is formatted to work with the Xbox 360 in mind. (more…)
